Teasers from Dramatic Britney Spears Memoir Revealed

It looks like Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me”, is going to be filled with tantalising new details about her life.

An international publication shared excerpts from the hugely anticipated book yesterday, Tuesday 17 October, giving die-hard fans of the 41-year-old singer a hint of what to expect when the book is officially released in a week’s time.

Spears is taking the opportunity to tell her side of her life story, rather than allowing the narrative to be determined by the media or her parents under the former conservatorship which ruled most of her life.

The “Toxic” hitmaker also took the chance to put to rest one of the biggest pop-culture questions that has bugged the minds of the 21st century: why did Britney shave her head?

“I’d been eyeballed so much growing up. I’d been looked up and down, had people telling me what they thought of my body, since I was a teenager. Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back,” she claims in the memoir.

In the explosive book, Spears has also revealed new information about her former relationship with singer Justin Timberlake – whom she had dated when they were in their late teens and early 20s, between 1999 and 2002.
